This is worth watching for the nostalgia (if you’re old enough to be nostalgic for late ‘80s chess), for the droll commentary by the host, comedian and actor Stephen Fry, and because it features some of the world’s best chess players at the time. Fry is a serious chess enthusiast, so the event and the players are covered with a humanizing humor rather than scorn and condescension. Enjoy!
