So the commentators were very excited and so happy that Gukesh was winning toward the end there. Still during the game, raising their fists in the air. In my opinion that’s extremely unprofessional of the commentating team- at the very least during the game they should not take sides (excitement is one thing, clearly rooting for one of the players is another).

If that was the official broadcast, I'd agree with you - 100%. But it wasn't; it was for ChessBase India. It would have been shocking and, in a way, unprofessional, if they *didn't* root for Gukesh. The official broadcast featured GM David Howell and IM Jovanka Houska; that's the one I embedded in the round 14 post. They were neutral.
