Sigeman & Co., The Last Round Games
Four interesting openings, three interesting games, and an epic ending.
As already noted, Peter Svidler was the big winner of the Sigeman & Co. tournament in Malmo, Sweden, but the games of the dramatic last round merit a look. This was an especially lively and interesting tournament, and it continued all the way to the very end. See for yourself.
Sigeman & Co., The Last Round Games
From the game notes to Gukesh-Svidler: "9...e6 was played by Carlsen, who drew against Alekhine" - apparently an echo of the previous comment? I first thought you mixed him up with Artemiev, but he also played 3.-Nc6!? with black - the game was Aronian-Carlsen.
Another chess writer kept mixing up Carlsen, Caruana and Karjakin - similar names, ()it happens .... .
